Venus transit Grand Canyon south rim 05.06.2012

Two weeks after the beautiful annular solar eclipse we had another beautiful astronomical event: the venus transit. It occured on the 5th of June 2012. I've observed the venus transit  from the same location from which I've observed the annular solar eclipse two weeks earlier: Grand Canyon south rim. I've setup my equipment at Yavapai point which provided the best view in the south rim.  I've taken nearly 1500 images with my Nikon D5000 and the Nikon 600mm lens. Below are the best images.
